Your privacy

Privacy policy.

How we look after any information you share with us - in plain English.

This policy explains what information Ascend Sports Massage collects, why, and what your rights are. If anything here isn't clear, just ask - call 07398 205 630 or use our contact page.

Who we are

Ascend Sports Massage is a sports and remedial massage practice based in Pinner, HA5 2PH. When we say "we" or "us", that's who we mean. We are the "data controller" for the information described below.

What we collect

  • When you enquire or message us - your name, email, phone number and whatever you write in the message.
  • When you book an appointment - your contact details and the health information needed to treat you safely. Bookings are handled by our booking system (Cliniko), which stores this securely.
  • When you use the website - basic, anonymous usage data (such as which pages are visited) via website analytics, to help us improve the site.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange your appointment.
  • To provide safe, appropriate treatment and keep proper records.
  • To improve the website and our service.
  • If - and only if - you tick the optional box, to send you occasional wellbeing tips and offers. You can opt out any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We only share it with the trusted services that help us run the practice - for example our booking system (Cliniko), the tool that delivers our contact-form messages, and website analytics. Each holds your data securely on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep treatment records for as long as we're required to for professional and insurance reasons, and enquiry details only for as long as needed to deal with your query. After that we securely delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just get in touch and we'll sort it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.
